Senior Manager, M&A and Corporate Development, Global Business West London Our client is a leading global business based in West London. They are a market leader in the sector in which they operate and are highly acquisitive. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Manager to their M&A team. The role will act as a core member of the M&A team, focused on sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities. You will also support M&A projects in all financial aspects and deal structuring and has the opportunity to be involved in broader M&A activities and deal management such as implementation planning and deal reviews. The role reports into the Head of Group Strategy and M&A with extensive exposure to senior management. The type of work you will do is as follows: • Deal origination including creating a robust pipeline that aligns to the Group strategy and M&A target areas and criteria • Build relationship with key players in the relevant deal market including PE companies, investment banks, financial / legal advisors, associations, and corporation in order to become aware early on of any upcoming opportunities • Screen potential targets and prepare for the discussion with top management • Prepare the financial investment case for prospective targets for both top management and Board for them to consider potential transactions • Manage the financial part of the deal transaction with support of the Corporate / Business Finance team, including working with 3rd party advisors during the due diligence process and during negotiations The type of candidate they are looking for is as follows: • VP to Director level professional from investment banking, corporate development or lead advisory • Proven track record in M&A with excellent experience (either from strategic, deal or financial side) • Experience in sourcing deals and building relationships with intermediaries in the M&A • Strong understanding of the M&A market and network • Strong knowledge in finance and deal modelling / structuring • Strong analytical skills • Team player • Ability to work across all organisational levels, functions and in a multi-cultural environment • Able to work independently and take leadership; strong work ethic
