Director (Or VP) Portfolio Development, Infrastructure Fund

We are now working with one of the top global infrastructure investors, who are looking to hire a Director level professional to their portfolio management team. They might also hiring a very good, but less experienced VP. The portfolio management team works on the following: Work with investment, operations and industry partner teams to provide day-to-day asset management oversight to their growing portfolio of infrastructure assets Identify, develop, track and implement key initiatives, alongside company management teams and their investment and industry partner teams, to deliver business plans and generate value through pro-active asset management Work with company management and investment and industry partner teams to deliver key strategic initiatives (such as refinancings, material contract negotiations, regulatory reviews, follow-on acquisitions etc) at portfolio companies Identify and mitigate key asset risks alongside company management teams Implement, improve and monitor periodic reporting by investee companies and identify material deviations and actions required Prepare and present regular updates and reporting on development of portfolio companies to the Fund's management team Work with the Fund's operations team to provide accurate and timely reporting, including asset valuations, to investors Collaborate with the Fund's investment team on new transactions to develop acquisition business plans and 100 day plans They are interested in meeting a professional who will have a background as follows: • Background in infrastructure portfolio management or perhaps finance/ commercial role within an infrastructure company • Currently working at the Director (VP) level • Strong understanding of the infrastructure sector • International experience useful • Highly commercial The Director will probably have 15- 20 years + experience. The VP will probably have 10 - 15 years experience.
